I went back to work part-time at the beginning of this year, when my daughter started high school, and my son moved away to start University. I also have a husband, a cat, and a dog. At the moment, the cat is my favourite person! Haha!
I’ve become really passionate about mindset and how it reflects itself in your weight and health. With some spare time, and some help from my husband’s friend Joe, I started this website.
I hope that by sharing my struggles and wins, I can help some other people who are like me.

About a year ago, my 7-year-old daughter said I look like Homer Simpson. I said ‘Nah! I’m the Mandalorian!’ She literally fell on the floor laughing. We were just messing around, but it got me thinking…
I figured if I want to get rid of my ‘Dad Bod’, other people probably do too. I hate the gym and exercising, other people probably do too. I love eating food, other people probably do too.
I hate the gym and exercising, but I used to play a bit of sport! I love eating food, especially meat! I like cooking on my backyard smoker, watching Star Wars, and bits and bobs at the local men’s shed.
